Republican Goals

Mitch McConnell, Republican leader has made two recent statements that should cause most voters to reject Republican politicians. He has said the most important job of the Republicans is to remove Obama from Office. He has also said that in the future there will be repeated efforts to hold the country hostage by refusing to vote for increases in the national debt limit unless Republicans get their way on spending cuts.

Under Republican majorities the USA has suffered economic disaster yet the most important Republican goal is defeating Obama (and providing employment for Republican politicians),

For the first time in history the United States has had its bond rating lowered. This was a direct result of Republicans refusing to allow us to repay debts created in the past in order to extort support of their ideological and mercenary goals. The American people have been disgusted and angered by the Republican fiscal irresponsibility and political intransigence yet they are promising (if elected) more of the same.

The Republicans are seeking nothing less than the elimination of the middle class and the creation of an elite aristocracy of wealthy individuals and corporations. They are willing to sell out to the religious right and bring democratic America to its knees to accomplish this.

A vote for a Republican is a vote against democracy and our constitution.
